Mr. Robert L. Boies
Alto, La.- Services for Mr. Robert L. Boies, 64, of Alto, La. will be at 4:00
p.m. Friday, June 10, 1988 at Bethlehem Baptist Church near Mangham with Rev.
Ralph Thomas and Rev. Charles Upshaw officiating. Burial will be in Prewitt
Cemetery near Mangham under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in
Rayville.
Mr. Boies died Thursday, June 9, 1988 at Richland Parish Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Boies was a life long resident of Alto, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a retired school bus driver for Richland Parish School Board.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doris Fleming Boies, Alto; daughter and son-in-law Robbie Laverne and Bobby Eaker, West Monroe; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Lee and Carolyn Boies, Bay City,TX; one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Shroeder, Columbia, MO; seven grandchildren, Robbie Cecillia Hart, Robert and John Hunter, Shelley, Amber, Joshua and Andrew Boies, great grandchildren, Kimberly Nicole and Alicia Ann Hart.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hunter, Roger Gibson, Chris Shroeder, Emmitte Fleming, Darryl Henry and Marvin Fleming, Jr.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
