Heidi Marie Carlson was born March 29, 1943, in Bischotteintz, Czechoslovakia, to Andres and Anni Schaffner. She was a 29-year resident of Weatherford and spent her entire career working in nursing homes and caring for the elderly. Heidi and Michael celebrated 27 years of marriage.
Heidi was preceded in death by her mother; and aunt, Betty Gibson.
Heidi is survived by her husband, Michael Carlson; daughter, Karin Sanders and husband, Chad; son, Joe Rebolledo and wife, Robyn; granddaughters, Robin and Kolby Trammell, all of Weatherford; stepfather, Frank Marek; sister, Monika Schaffner; brothers, Ferry and Gavrielle Marek, all of Santiago, Chile; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Carlson; sister-in-law, Beth Moser of Albuquerque, N.M.; uncle, Don Gibson of Weatherford; aunt, Trudy Bovanosky of Weatherford; and a host of loving family members and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Monday, March 19, at White's Chapel of Memories, Weatherford. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park, Weatherford. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
