John "Jake" Jacob Deel was a sophomore at Trinity Christian Academy.
Jake was born Oct. 4, 1990, in Weatherford, the son of Danny and Janet Deel. During his freshman year at Trinity Christian Academy, Jake was named all-district center, offensive lineman, while continuing to maintain a 90-plus grade point average.
In 2006, Jake formed his own band, Advan. He played praise music at Youth Harvest Church on Wednesdays for crowds of more than 200 youths. He also played bass in Trinity Bible Church and Clear Fork Baptist Church praise bands.
Jake was a very loving and free-spirited person who had a close personal walk with his Lord. Jake was preparing to preach his first message at Trinity Chapel on Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
Jake was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Mary Frances Deel.
