Jocelyn Tillman, 18, of Lubbock and formerly of Tahoka passed from this life on March 13, 2007, in Lubbock. She was born May 15, 1988, in Tahoka, to LaDonna McDaniel and the late Richard Payne and stepfather, Joe McDaniel. She attended grammar school in Tahoka before moving to Lubbock in 1995. She graduated from Lubbock High.
Those surviving her are her mother and step-father; one daughter, Imonie D. Patton; one brother, DeShonne McDaniel of Lubbock; one sister, Te'andra McDaniel of Lubbock; grandparents, Q.C. and Willie Mae Tillman of Tahoka, Evelyn Joyce McDaniel of Lubbock and Joe McDaniel Sr. of Fort Worth, Roy and Eyvonne Rogers of Lubbock.
Jocelyn was preceded in death by her father, Richard Payne and one sister, Jo'Anne McDaniel.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Tahoka, with Rev. Gloria Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Nevels Memorial Cemetery in Tahoka.
