GLASGOW -- Alma Effie "Renie" York, 88, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow.
Born in Clinton County, she was the daughter of the late Calla Sue Broaddus and Velar Jane Graham Broaddus and wife of the late Cleo John Lewis York.
Survivors include one daughter, Cordie Eden of Glasgow; six sons: Larry, Jim, Freddie, Clifford, Bill and Alvis York, all of Glasgow; 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Dickerson; one brother and four sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
