Death Comes To Mrs. Rowena Clingman At Age of 87
Mrs. Rowena M. Clingman of 1102 E. Brower, Springfield, Mo. passed away Tuesday morning May 12, 1964, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Fern Sturdevant in Springfield, Mo., after a lingering illness. She was 87 years old.
She was born in Greene County and was a long-time resident of the Pleasant Hope community. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Springfield.
Survivors include three daughters; Mrs. Opal Shewmaker of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Mildred Garrett of Dunnegan, Mo., and Mrs. Fern Sturdevant of Springfield, Mo.; three sons, Gail Clingman of Walnut Grove, Mo., Roy Clingman of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Keim Clingman of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, Charles A. Mahan of Guymon, Okla.; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Pleasant Hope.
