Lasca Matilda Baxter Johnson, age 74, died March 13, 1994.

Born August 31, 1919 in Banida, Idaho to Don Carlos and Olive Irene Sleight Baxter. Married Lawrence Clay Nester September 7, 1935; later divorced. Married Quis L. Johnson November 8, 1957 in Magna, Utah.

Retired from Tooele Army Depot after 18 years. She worked and enjoyed grooming dogs since her retirement.

Survived by husband; children, Darlene Allen, Judie Hayes, Don Nester, Dan Nester, and Randy Nester; 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 1994 at 1 p.m. in the Hunter 20th Ward, 7035 West 3605 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, and Wednesday, 12-12:45 p.m. at the church.

Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
