PEREA, Ernest R., a long time resident of the Antelope Valley. Born April 24, 1923, in Simi Valley. Passed away March 6, 2007, in Lancaster, Calif. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Lancaster VFW and Moose Lodge. Ernest served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, where he was stationed overseas. He returned and lived most of his life in Lancaster, California. On April 6, 1991, he was united in marriage to Beverly J. Cook. Ernest is survived by his daughter Anita and her husband Jeff Fleming, their children, Cathy Fleming, Caryn and Alvin Adelhoch and grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Adelhoch; his son, Richard Perea and his children, Kimberlynn and Richard Perea; his step-son, Fred Willard, daughter-in- law and husband, Tammy and Bob Owen; daughter-in-law and husband Alice and Norm Stevenson; three brothers; Jim and Val Perea, Ray and Peggy Perea; Don and Darlene Perea. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2007, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Joshua Memorial Park. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Antelope Valley Helathcare for their exceptional care, help and support given to Ernie.
He will be missed by all.
