She was born January 3,1919 in Winchester, the daughter of Ernest L. and Esta O.(Betts)Cook,twin sister of Dorothy (Cook)Simmons. She worked in the office of the Wonder Bread Company. She enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include:her sister Helen Maxine Kidwell of Winchester;brother John T. (wife:Marjorie)Cook of Winchester;and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by sisters:Clara Jeanette Ashley,Dorothy Simmons and Margaret Snyder;brothers James W. Cook and Ernest L. Cook,Jr.
A graveside service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Maxville with Pastor Joshua Grimes officiating.
(Doris Madaline Cook married Richard Byron Fisher in Richmond, Wayne Co., IN on Nov. 17,1935. Aunt Doris' gave her birth date as 1/3/1916. They moved to Washington State where they divorced.)
