George P. Anke, 77, of Seymour passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at his residence surrounded by family. He was an owner and operator of AAA Maintenance in Seymour for 11 years. He also operated 411 Drag Way for two seasons. George was a car and racing enthusiast. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, LaVonne and Paul Anke. George is survived by his partner, Vicki Luttrell of Seymour; sons, Jim Anke and wife, Rose of Sevierville, Scott Anke and partner, Jamie of Sevierville, Josh Anke and wife, Patricia of Knoxville; daughter, Angela Clarke and husband, Bob of Pittsford, MI; grandchildren, Michael Anke, Kirk Anke, Leanne Anke, Dylan Clarke, Lindsey Clarke, and Baby Anke on the way. The family will receive friends from 11 AM-1 PM Friday, August 25th with the funeral service to follow at 1 PM at Atchley's Seymour Chapel. Pastor Robbie Leach will be officiating.
