From Who's Who, International, 1912Congressman Martin Dies was born in Jackson Parish, La., on March 13, 1870, the son of David Warren and Sarah Jane (Pyburn) Dies. In 1892, he married Mrs. Olive M. Blackshear of Woodville, Texas.
