Connie Kay Heller, age 67, of Council Bluffs, passed away April 8, 2016, at CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Connie was born February 6, 1949, in Harlan, Iowa, to the late Dean and Ethel (Von Tersch) Miles. She graduated from Harlan Community High School in 1967. Connie married Bernard Heller on February 15, 1969, in Harlan. They were blessed with three children, Kristine husband Joel Pitz), Kevin (wife Jill), and Kurt (wife Shannan). Connie was an optician at Spectacles in Council Bluffs from 1983 to 2014. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and it's Altar and Rosary Society.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her brother, John Miles.
Connie is survived by her husband; 1 daughter; 2 sons; 9 grandchildren; 5 sisters; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family, Tuesday, 5:30 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m., at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church. Memorial Mass Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church. The family will direct memorial contributions.
