Services were Saturday, June 5 at First Lutheran Church in Blair for Viola Rohwer of Blair, 78, who died at Memorial Community Hospital June 3, 1993. Burial was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Viola Rohwer was born March 30, 1915 in Washington County, north of Bennington. She attended Donnacker School and later North High School.

She married Harry “Jack” Rohwer at Omaha July 17, 1935. They farmed in the Fort Calhoun area prior to moving to Blair in June, 1991.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ray and Fred Puls.

She is survived by her husband “Jack”; a son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Judy Rohwer, Fort Calhoun; a daughter and son-in-law, Deloras and Larry Fifer,, Commerce City, Colorado; grandchildren, Alan and Angelia Rohwer, Duane Fifer, Brian Fifer, Danelle Fifer, Tom and JoAnn Schuller, Rob and Nancy Schuller, Greg and Donna Schuller, Doug and Jean Schuller, Eric Schuller; great grandchildren, Sara Schuller, Benjamin Schuller, Katy Schuller and one sister, Rose Nelsen, Los Gatos, California.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
