RAYMOND RATHJEN

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. for Raymond Rathjen 75, of Blair, at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Pastor Dan Hauge of Country Bible Church conducted funeral services.

Raymond was born April 28, 1910 in Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska, to Emil and Anna Rathjen. He married Elsie Elizabeth Burmeister on March 18, 1936. They had two sons, Donald and Melvin of Blair; and one daughter, Myrna Heyden of Missouri Valley, Iowa. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three sisters, Marie Voss and Clara Taylor of Omaha; and Lucille Knag of Fort Calhoun; and also one aunt, Lucinda (Lucy) Petersen of Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, one brother and one granddaughter.
