Lucinda Petersen
Services of Lucinda K. Petersen, 95 who died December 4, 1986, were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 8, at the Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Feuerhak officiating. Pallbearers were Hans Mommsen, John Lorsch, Odell Bowley, Delbert Bowley, William Jackson and Donald Rathjen. Burial was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
Mrs. Petersen was born July 4, 1891 near Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Mary Micheels Wortmann.

She grew up on a farm in Iowa and on October 15, 1913 she married Frank Petersen of Fort Calhoun. They farmed south of Blair for several years and then moved to Blair where they operated a Phillips 66 station for about 15 years.

She was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge for many years. She had been a resident of Good Shepherd Home for three years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, a brothers, Louis Wortmann, and four sisters, Minnie Lorsch, Selma Bowley, Hulda Bowley and Augusta Mitchell and by a half sister, Mrs. Annie Rathjen. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
