MRS. L. HINRICHSEN SERVICES TUESDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie K Hinrichsen, 80 years of age, Blair, who died Saturday at Memorial Community Hospital, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair, the Rev. Norman Discher officiating, with interment in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
Mrs. Hinrichsen is survived by two sons, Frank and Walter, both of Blair; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Lizzie K. Steffen was born April 24, 1883 in Lubeck, Germany. She came to this country with her parents when she was seven years old. They settled at Blair. A short time later they moved to Fort Calhoun, where they made their home.
On March 5, 1901 she married Henry Hinrichsen. They farmed west of Fort Calhoun until 1916 when they moved to a farm southeast of Blair, where they lived until 1943, when they retired and moved to Blair. Her husband died Nov. 5, 1960. Three children preceded her in death: Emil in July, 1936, Gus in June of 1941 and Mrs. Wm Ketterman (Mayta) in December of 1960.
Pallbearers will be Frank Steffen, Emmett Steffen, Alvin, Ohrt, Henry Rohwer, John Straka and Arthur Nelson.
The Sievers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
