ADOLPH FRAHM, 90, BURIED MONDAY

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Adolph Frahm, 90-year-old Ft. Calhoun man who passed away at the Blair Convalescent Home last Saturday. He had suffered a paralytic stroke a week prior to his death.
Adolph Frahm was born in Schleswig Holstein, Germany October 6, 1863. He came to this country when a youth 16 years of age and worked for several years in Omaha. He then came to Washington county and began life as a farmer and followed this work until his retirement a few years ago. He had been a resident of Washington county for 71 years.
In 1889 he was married to Miss Christine Henrietta Brost and to this union two sons and a daughter were born. Mrs. Frahm passed away in 1922. A son also preceded his father in death.
Survivors are a son, Henry Frahm, of Omaha, a daughter, Mrs. Emma Nelson, of Ft. Calhoun and two brothers, August Frahm of Mead and Ferdinand, of Germany.
Since his retirement, Mr. Frahm has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Emma Nelson, in Ft. Calhoun.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian church with the Rev. Norman Fowler conducting the services. Burial, under the direction of the Sievers Mortuary, was made in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.
Pall bearers were Louis Lund, Wm. Schmidt, Bruce Cox, Emil Kruse, John Schroeder and Hugh Vaughn.

Funeral Services for Adolph Frahm, 90. Fort Calhoun, who died Saturday in the Blair Convalescent Home, were held Monday at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Norman Fowler officiating. Burial was in the Fort Calhoun cemetery.

Native of Germany, Mr. Frahm came to America at the age of 16 and settled on a farm near Fort Calhoun in 1882, and spent the rest of his life in that community.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Emma Nelson of Fort Calhoun; one son, Henry Frahm of Omaha; and a brother, August Frahm of Mead.

The Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
