She was a longtime member of Christian Life Center where she enjoyed working with children, especially in the puppet ministry. Mary’s love of children fit perfectly with her 20+ year career in Administration at St. Peter’s Catholic School. Always laughing and smiling, Mary was a joy to be near. She enjoyed the company of people but also of her cat, Sparky.
Mary is survived by a brother, Clarence “Joe” J. (Arlene) Cline of Springfield, OH; a sister, Betty J. Salyers of Wolf, KY; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Alma Cline and Magdalene Cline.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer, Bill (Adith), Ivan and Charles; two sisters, Flora Kiser and Lorene Cline; and a brother-in-law, Paul Salyers.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2017, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. with her great-nephew, Pastor Troy Diersing officiating. She will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
