Eliza Diantha Russell, daughter of Albert G Russell and Julia C Sherwood, born January 1843 (per 1900 Census Record). Married William Henry Harrison Marlett, son of Elijah Bennett Marlett and Sarah Goodwin, about 1862 in Michigan. He died May 16, 1917 at the MI Old Soldiers Home Hospital in Grand Rapids and buried at the cemetery there.
They had 4 known children: Albert W Marlett; Mary Ellen Marlett (died at 9 months in Dec 1869 and is also buried at this cemetery); Benn William Marlett (who Eliza lived with until her death); and Daniel G Marlett.
Eliza Diantha died 1924 according to her gravestone and the Huddleston West Side Cemetery Burial Index. We are assuming she died in Grand Rapids Michigan where she had been living with Benn and Ethelyn Marlett's family from the time that her husband was admitted to the Michigan Old Sodiers Home, however, we have not found an on-line source record to document her death date as of 4/11/2012.
