Mrs. Fannie Anderson, 57, died Saturday. Oct. 2, 2004, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

She was the daughter of the late William Avery Howell and Annie Lee Borders Howell and a native of Cleveland County.

She graduated with honors from Washington High School and attended Barber Scotia College.

She married her high school sweetheart, James Rudolph Anderson, and to this union two children were born.

She was a dedicated member of Washington Baptist Church, where she was a former pianist for the mass choir, president of the Delia Patterson Missionary Circle and served on the usher board and in many other organizations. Until her illness, she was a shipping supervisor at Modern Polymers Inc. in Cherryville.

To cherish her loving memory are her husband, James R. Anderson; her son, James Dimario Anderson (Frankie); her daughter, Quincie Dyan Rudette Anderson Seright (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Deshun Dawson, James Dimario Anderson Jr., Anthony DeAndre Shamar Anderson, Andre Bracey, Maikiea Danyell Seright and Brooklyn D?Asia Seright; five brothers, Avery Lee Howell, (Pug) William Jerome Howell (Minnie Sue), Thamon Caleb Howell (Christine), all of Shelby, Roland Parnell Howell of Salisbury and Dexter Columbus Howell (Elviria) of Raleigh; one sister, Allie Chineta Howell Maddox (Craig); her sister at heart, Ruby Jane Borders McNeal of Bowie, Md.; three sisters-in-law, Mattie Leach (James), Joanna Hopper (Ernest) and Gail Anderson; two brothers-in-law, Johnny Lee Anderson and George Edward Anderson (Pamela); and Billie Jo Brown, a family friend.

The funeral will be held at Washington Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
