Professional Basketball Player. Born Daniel Lawrence Finn Jr., he was a guard for three seasons (1952 to 1955) in the National Basketball Association with the Philadelphia Warriors. His best year was the 1953/54 season when he scored 466 points with 265 assists. During his college years, Finn was a stand out player at St. John's University in New York. In 142 career NBA games, Finn scored 1,042 points with 566 assists. He died of complications from pulmonary fibrosis. (bio by: C.S.)
