LORAIN -- Stella Kobasic, 88, of Lorain, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at Rae-Ann-Westlake, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 23, 1918, in Lorain, where she lived for 85 years before moving to Avon Lake in 2003. Miss Kobasic worked at Moen in Elyria for many years. She was a member of St. Vitus Catholic Church, Lorain, and enjoyed bowling, golf and her family.

Survivors include her brother, Edward Kobasic of Lorain; sisters Evelyn DiLuciano of Lorain and Elaine Niehenke of Olmsted Falls; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna (nee Lukenic) in 1971 and Martin F. Kobasic in 1975; brothers Edward Kobasic and Anthony Kobasic, both in infancy, Martin Kobasic in 1984, John Kobasic in 2002, Richard Kobasic in 1946 and Robert Kobasic in 2004; and sisters Margaret Kobasic in 1996, Mary Ann Simko in 1995 and Dorothy Kobasic in 1965.

Friends may call at Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, Oh. Mass in St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 310 W. Eighth St., Lorain. The Rev.
