FRANKSTON - Services for T.E. "Pete" Beard, 80, Frankston, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel, Frankston, with the Rev. J.A. Griffin officiating.
Burial will be in Frankston City Cemetery.
Mr. Beard died Feb. 18, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 24, 1926, in Frankston. He served in the Army, worked in construction and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Beard, Frankston; sons, Greg Beard and Spencer Beard, both of Frankston, and Gary Beard, Athens; brothers, T.L. Beard and D.A. "Doodle" Beard, both of Frankston; sisters, Ruth Novalene Burris, Betty Reese and Mary Ann Randall, all of Dallas, and Gladys Overton, Bullard; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are David Smith, L.D. Dickerson, Tim Burks, James Beard, Jerry Beard and Blake Bumbard.
Honorary pallbearers are Billy Bacon, Thomas Cook, Vernon Harton, Robert Henderson and Terry Bacon.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
