Major League Baseball Player. He played Major League baseball as an outfielder for five seasons (1932 to 1936) with the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Browns. His best year was 1934 when he had 168 hits and drove in 101 runs with a .298 batting average. In addition to his major league career, Pepper was a stand out minor league player with the Rochester Red Wings. In 339 career games, Pepper had 285 hits with a .281 lifetime batting average. (bio by: C.S.)
