Mrs. Fannie Alice Shindledecker, 82, widow of Samuel Shindledecker, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. And Mrs. Clyde E Sloat, Gettysburg R3, Tuesday afternoon at 4:45. She had been ill for 10 weeks.
Mrs. Shindledecker was a daughter of the late James and Margaret Snyder Bigham and was a life long resident of the county. She was a member of the Fairfield United Church of Christ and of the
Sons of Veterans' Auxiliary of Gettysburg.
Surviving are four children, Harold Bigham, Mrs. Clyde E Sloat and Mrs. Robert Bushman, all of Gettysburg R3, and Mrs. Ernest G Cluck, Taneytown R1. There are four grandsons and five great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Fairfield with her pastor, the Rev. Robert N Paden, officiating. Interment will be made in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
