John David (Dave) Strange, age 67, of Newport passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at Physicians Regional Medical Center.
He was veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Jiney Strange; sister, Betty Jo Mathis; and brother, Bob Strange.
He is survived by his companion, Doris Thomas of Bybee; brothers, Tommy (Mary) Strange of Newport and Dank (Reba) Strange of Newport; sisters, Sue (Charles) Lane of Newport and Judy (Kenny) Williams; special friend, Faye Burgin; and several nieces and nephews.
Rev. Fred Gregg officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 22, 2017 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
