Dorsel Ray Webster III, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 16, 2017, at his home after a long term illness. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

"Little Ray" was born May 28, 1966, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dorsel Ray Webster Jr. and Linda Landon Fry. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Bonneville and Skyline High Schools. He earned his GED at Eastern Idaho Technical College.

On May 3, 1986, he married Maria Ann Turnbow in Ammon, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on September 30, 1998. To this union were born two children, Brittney, Blake and goddaughter Tatum Fulford. Ray and Maria made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Little Ray worked as a lab technician at Idaho Labs for 27 years.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed traveling, and being with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his Harley, and as a young man, rodeoing.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Maria Webster; daughter, Brittney (Victor Santos) Webster; son, Blake Webster; goddaughter, Tatum Fulford; father, Ray Webster Jr.; mother, Lynn Fry; sister, Wendy Webster; brother, Mark (Amy) Webster; brother, Shiloh (Jami) Owens; brother, David Webster; sister, Shantah (Todd) Hughes; brother, Tony (Geneva) Webster; brother, Cody (Tony) Webster; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Keith and Norene Turnbow, his grandparents, Owen & Lois Landon and Dorsel & Marge Webster, and a brother-in-law, Mike Herman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, with Bishop Mark Argyle of the Idaho Falls LDS 28th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
