DEATH OF DAN FIGG
Daniel McComb Figg, 65, a highly respected citizen of Grand River township, died at the Chillicothe hospital Tuesday morning at 1 o'clock. The body was removed to the Norman Funeral Home where it was prepared for burial.
The body was taken overland to Wheeling this afternoon where funeral services will be held from the Methodist church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The body will then be brought to Chillicothe and shipped to Williamsburg, Ia., for burial (sic). He is survived by six sons and three daughters. The sons will act as pallbearers at the funeral.
Mr. Figg, before moving to Grand River township, resided on a farm four and one-half miles north of Wheeling.
He was married twice and had a total of 13 children.
