CASEY, Michael "O", passed away in Lancaster, Calif., Jan. 29, 2007. A native of San Diego, Calif., age 57 years. Graduated from Hueneme High School in Hueneme, Calif., in 1969. He was then drafted into the Marine Corps and served in Vietnam until his tour was complete in 1971. He moved to Lancaster from Oxnard, Calif., with his wife Debbie and oldest son DeVon in 1977, where he lived, worked and served both the community and church until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert E. Casey and Dorothy L. (Taylor) Casey and son DeVon L. Casey. He is survived by his wife Deborah Casey of Lancaster, daughters Cicely of San Diego, Calif., and Naomi of Phoenix, Ariz., sons Michael of Canoga Park, Calif., Thaao of Thatcher, Ariz., and Darius of Lancaster, Calif., mother-in-law, Doris Shelton of Lancaster, Calif., sister-in-law Lenita Shelton and nephew Julius Shaiffer of Ventura, Calif., aunts Bessie (Kay) Craven and Georgia Taylor of San Diego, Calif., aunt Rosalee and her husband Woody Adams of Oklahoma, Okla., special mother Hazel Janzen of Lancaster, Calif., brothers Robert and Patrick Casey and numerous relatives throughout the country. He will be truly missed by all who knew and came to love this special man. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary with services to be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 3232 East Ave H-14, Lancaster, Calif. Interment to follow at Joshua Memorial Park, 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, Calif., 661-942-8125.
