Priscilla Moore Garner, age 77 of Sevierville passed away Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Freedom Senior Living. She graduated from ETBH School of Nursing and was a nurse for many years. She was a past Director of Sevier County and Blount County Health Departments. Priscilla was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church and loved playing and watching golf.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Garner and parents, Samuel and Velma Moore.

Her survivors include daughter, Kimberly Garner; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Herman Goddard; brother, Ronnie Moore, niece and husband, Jill and John Thompson; great-nephews: Samuel and James Thompson; cousin, Regina Fox

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Freedom Senior Living for their exceptional care.


In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Pat Summitt Foundation, 520 W. Summit Hill Dr., Suite 1101, Knoxville, TN 37902

The family will receive friends 5:30-7 PM Friday with a funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Thomas officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Saturday at Knob Creek Cemetery in Seymour for interment.
