Charlotte Patterson, age 72 of Newport, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Newport Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Smith Shelton & Geneva Jones; her son, John David Brooks; and several brothers & sisters.
She is survived by her son, Shelby Patterson (Chelsea); daughter, Jessie Patterson (Silas McCurry); and grandchildren, Danika, Roger, Charles, & Juanita; as well as several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 4PM to 6PM at Brown Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6PM with Pastor Carl Parton officiating.
Burial will take place at 11AM Friday, April 14, 2017 in the Stokely's Chapel Memorial Garden.
