Loving wife of the late Bill, Mother of Hannah, Doris, Hilda, Lily, John Henry (my dad) and Roland.

Sadly passed away in the summer of 1969, Residing at 31 Driver Street, Woodhouse, Sheffield.
Her house was and still is standing to this day right on the bankings of the railway.
Even though her house was quite small by today's standards she had many a person boarding with her.

My Grandma was a much respected member of the community, she worked for a long time in the canteen at nearby Brookhouse Colliery in the late 40's and well into the 50's.

Dearly devoted sister of John, Clarence and Ernest Morley.
She loved to cook, bake and in her pantry if you moved a tin a couple of inches she knew !!
When she died my mother cleared her pantry out and found tins that were years out of date.

Also she had a lovely old cat, when grandma died the poor little soul would not rest anyway else and was always going back to the house he shared with his beloved mistress. He didn't know any better and would not change his ways no matter how many times my father brought him back from my grandma's house because of this the vet suggested the best thing for the little cat was to find the peace he so needed and so was put to sleep.

Grandma's favourite pastime was playing Bingo, I remember going with her to some of her favourite Bingo places such as the Old Library in Woodhouse, The Plaza at Handsworth and dropping her off at the Lyceum in Sheffield town Centre..Even some Saturday nights at the Wales Jubilee club !!
