These years together
We've lived and learned,
We will find our patch of Sunshine
In a better place and time.
You'll greet me at the Door
And I'll hold you to my heart once again.
Thank you, precious friend,
For the time,
the love you shared
Kiki was a blessing for our family, we had no idea of what was in store for us. She originally belonged to a very special lady, Letha. She was an elderly family friend of ours. Letha thought so very much of our family, she told us that if anything were to ever happen to her, she would like us to have Kiki. (she knew we would give her a very good home with love and attention) Sadly enough Letha passed away a while afterwards, and poor Kiki had been let out during the night and never gotten back inside. Letha had died after letting poor Kiki out to do her business that night. And a neighbor found Kiki the following morning and knew something was very wrong! That is when they found Letha dead inside her home. So unfortunately Kiki was pushed in with a family with lots of children before we could get her to where she belonged. The son realized Kiki wasn't doing well in their atmosphere and called us to come and get her. We did of course, right away too! The poor thing had been through enough, let alone be pushed into such a loud environment at such an old age! When we picked her up, it was tears of joy that streamed down our faces. Kiki knew us, and trusted us very much. She knew she was at her new home. When the little darling fell asleep for the first time, she was so very exhausted...we all thought she was dead! She fit into our home wonderfully, she lived out the balance of her life with the love she desperately needed and deserved. She was a large part of our family for almost a year, until she too was called to her new home with Letha once again. Our family thought the absolute world of Kiki, and she has made it impossible to ever forget her. We are so very grateful for the time we had along with her. She opened our eyes to little dogs, and we have had three Poms since then. Thank you Kiki for the special times together, we will continue to hold them close to our hearts.
***PLEASE drop into Letha's memorial page and leave her flowers, she was such a wonderful lady!*** THANK YOU!
