US Marine James Milton Wilson, Vietnam Veteran, Native of Murfreesboro, NC.
US Marine Private First Class James Milton Wilson was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps Selective Service and a Draftee, PFC Wilson served our country until December 4th, 1966 in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. It was reported that James died from small arms fire or grenade. His body was recovered. James was born on May 25th, 1945 in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. PFC Wilson is on panel 13E, line 011 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.

He was the son of Mr William James Wilson and Mrs Penny Elizabeth Parker Wilson, Route #1, Box 230-A, Murfreesboro, NC.
He served with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd MAF.
He was awarded The Combat Action Ribbon(CAR), The Purple Heart Medal for his combat related wounds, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Service Medal, The National Defense Service Medal.
