Mrs. Bessie May Watters of Orbisonia R.D., died at her home at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 1952, following an illness of eight months. She was born on December 9, 1888, in Orbisonia, the daughter of William and Anna (Armstrong) Byers. She was united in marriage to Isaac M. Watters of Shade Gap 44 years ago. Mrs. Watters was a member of the Rockhill Furnace Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her husband, a foster son, Richard Byers, and one sister, Mrs. Unice Moore of Rockhill Furnace. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Rockhill Furnace Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Myrl Weyant officiating. Interment will be made in the Salem Cemetery at Tell Township. Friends may call at Ott's funeral home in Orbisonia until noon Sunday, when the body will be taken to the church where it may be viewed until the hour of services.
