Although a successful journalist, including serving as editor of the "Nashville Tennessean" his childhood dream was to write fiction. That dream was fulfilled with the science fiction writer's award winning eighteen volume series entitled, "The Kipton Chronicles". Other contributions he made to this genre included "Rebels of the Red Planet", "The Day the Oceans Overflowed" "Target: Grant, 1862" and "Modal".
