Amanda Madora "Dora" Simms Pittman was the 5th daughter and the 8th child of William Edward Simms and Malinda Catherine Templin Simms. She married James Pinkney Pittman on Mar 31, 1895 in Bell Co. TX. There were no children to this union. Amanda was a sister to my great-grandfather, Jacob Milton Simms.
