Graveside service is 2 p.m. Friday at Rock Creek Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Lively officiating.
She was born June 21, 1935, in South Bend, Texas, to Delmar and Helen McPherson Lindley. She was a housewife and lived in Mineral Wells most of her life. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Linda Evans of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Bert Evans III, Shari Evans, Michelle Cornett and Kevin Cornett; great-grandchildren, Madison, Lexy, Cassie and Evan; family friend and companion, Bo Whitehead; siblings, Dewayne, R.D., Ruby, Shirley and spouses; numerous other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Bert K. Evans Sr.; son Bert Evans Jr.; siblings, Wanda Whitehead and Virgil Lindley; and infant, James Lindley.
