Mrs. Miles was born in Darlington, daughter of the late Charles Dewey Anderson, Sr. and Vina Baldwin Anderson. She was a graduate of St. John's High School in Darlington. Mrs. Miles was a full time pastor's wife for over 50 years, and during that time, she often served as the church pianist. She was active in the Pentecostal Holiness Women's Ministries, where she was a former District Director. Mrs. Miles was a Bible and Piano teacher at Emmanuel Academy. She was a wonderful wife and mother and an avid Scrabble player.
Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dana Michele Ramsey, brother, Charles D. Anderson, Jr. and sisters, Frances A. Collins, Vivian A. Strickland and Annie Mae Anderson.
