EVELYN R. ANDERSON, 84, of TINTON FALLS, formerly of Bradley Beach, died Monday, Jan. 22, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mrs. Anderson was a registered nurse at Bayonne Hospital before retiring to raise her three children. She was a graduate of the Bayonne Hospital Nursing School. Born in Bayonne, Mrs. Anderson lived in Bradley Beach for 34 years before moving to Tinton Falls two years ago.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harold H. Anderson; her son, Robert M. Anderson of Tinton Falls and his wife Lisa; her daughter, Joyce Marie Clarke of Pipersville, Pa. and her husband Bob; and her daughter, Karen Irene Anderson of Bradley Beach; her four grandchildren, Marissa Lee Anderson, Nicole R. Clarke, Jennifer N. Clarke, and Melanie M. Clarke; her sister, Lorraine L. Ozarowski of Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Reilly Funeral Home, 801 D St., Belmar. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 9 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Ascension, Bradley Beach. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Madonna House, 1401 Seventh Ave., Neptune, NJ 07753, would be appreciated.
