Birth: Jun., 1862
Gordon County
Georgia, USA
Death: Jan. 6, 1933
Bryan County
Oklahoma, USA

Buried next to (southside of) Nora Faulkner. Grave is Unmarked at this time.

On my trip to Oklahoma, I located Springhill Cemetery where part of my Faulkner Family is buried.
I am facing east on the photo entitled Faulkner grave site. I found Nora's headstone lying on the ground at the brown indentation in the center of the picture. I managed to wrestle it upright, but it couldn't get it back up on the pedestal by myself.

After showing this photo Nora Belle Faulkner & Juanita Faulkner (who were both at William Noah's grave site services on 14 January 1933), they confirmed that he was buried next to Nora as depicted in this photo. Both Nora and Juanita are adamant that Bill died on the 6th of January. It took over a week for the funeral arrangements.
As Nora and Juanita were both present at his death and funeral as witnesses, their word supersedes any erroneous newspaper account.

On each edge of Nora's headstone, were the engravings:
Noah L. Faulkner and Infant Faulkner (we know was Delsia A. Faulkner).

Springhill Cemetery is approximately 1 mile west of Wade, OK. Heading west on highway 70E you will come to a small bridge over Tuklo Creek. About two hundred yards west of the bridge you will see a driveway on the right
or north side of the road with a small white house. Just feet to the west of this driveway, the state has placed a small green sign indicating Spring Hill Cemetery. You can't see the cemetery from their driveway. It is about a quarter mile due north, upon the rise (hill). Be sure and get permission from the new land owner. Sometime they have livestock in this pasture.
They allowed me to open their fence gate and drive up to the cemetery.

Update: William Noah's parents were Charles W and Nancy L Faulkner. Charles W. Faulkner parents were John and Rosanna Faulkner, who were last listed on the 1870 census of Manchester Twpshp, Clark Co. Arkansas. An exact 67/67 DNA match of this lineage with a descendant of James Pinkney Faulkner, (another son of John & Rosanna) confirmed Charles' parents.
