Wanda J. Fitzgerald, age 74, a lifetime Valparaiso resident, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Whispering Pines. She was born June 27, 1932 in Gary, IN, the daughter of William and Marie (Provence) Davis and graduated from Hobart High School. On February 24, 1952 in Corinth, MS, she married Grover Fitzgerald who preceded her in death in 1972. Survivors include their two sons: Skip (Julie) Fitzgerald of Jackson Township and Brian Fitzgerald of Valparaiso; four brothers and sisters: Don (Wilma) Davis of Lake Station, Allan (Bobbie) Davis of Florida, Jeanette (Joe) Kalaberer of Hobart and Shirley (John) Kunch of Griffith; three grandchildren: Joel (Niki) Gilbert, Melissa (Rich) Harley and Rachel (Adam) Woodside; two great-grandchildren: Keelie and Kenzie Gilbert. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Terry Gilbert in 1993; and three brothers: Bill, Arthur and Harold Davis. Visitation will be held Wednesday at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Angelcrest Cemetery.
