Gloria D. Woodland Johnson Angell, 79, of Shelley, Idaho, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, in Idaho Falls from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born February 24, 1937, in Grace, Idaho, the daughter of Thomas F. Woodland and Emma E. Daniels Woodland. She grew up in and attended schools in Blackfoot, Idaho. She attended Blackfoot High School.

On June 9, 1954, Gloria married Gaylan Max Johnson in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Gaylan passed away March 7, 1987. On April 10, 1993, she married Clarence Emory Angell. He passed away February 20, 2005.

After Gloria had her first child, Gayla, at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, she chose to return to Blackfoot and have the remaining six children delivered by her family doctor.

Gloria was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had enjoyed working in the temple and currently she was serving as the ward librarian.

Her interests were centered around her family and church. She will always be remembered for her pies, especially her lemon meringue pie.

Words that describe Gloria are, Christlike, forgiving, non-judgmental, loving, kind, best friend, a mother to all, faithful and caring. We will miss her.

Gloria is survived by the following:
