Jack was born April 25, 1929 in Dillon, Montana a son to Henry Mueller Meine and Francis Boetticher.

He attended schools in Dillon graduating from Beaverhead High School. He attended two years at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. He served in the United States Navy from 1946 to 1950 in the Pacific.
He married Billie Nadine Lessey June 15, 1952 in Dillon, Montana. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 16, 1959. He spent his early married life ranching in the Dillon, Montana area with his family. Later his employment was with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a custodian in the Ririe Stake for 20 years with his wife Billie. Following Billie’s death in 1999 he met and married Glenna Mae Morrison in the Salt Lake LDS Temple March 11, 2000.

Jack was an active member of the LDS church and had served as Elders Quorum President, High Priest group leader, Sunday School President and counselor in the Bishopric. He served two missions, one to Salt Lake City Family History and Saskatchewan, Canada with his wife Glenna Mae. They also served together as temple workers in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for 10 years. He was active with the Boy Scouts of America and served as a Scout Master. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, four wheeling and being with his family especially his grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his children; Annette Marie Sommer of Sugar City, Paula Diane (Gary) Boyce of Idaho Falls, Georgia Lee (Hector) Diaz of Ririe, Cynthia June (Dave) Spaulding of Rigby, Jacqueline Lyn (Jerry) Hampton of Idaho Falls, Christopher Dale (Angie) Meine of Shelley and David Charles (Joan “Jody”) Meine of Middleton, a sister Jackie Carr of Medford, Oregon and 42 grandchildren, and 57great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Billie two brothers Henry Frances Meine and Robert Meine.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ririe LDS Stake Center, 14061 North 130 East, Ririe, Idaho 83443. The family will visit with friends at the Ririe Stake Center, Tuesday, January 24th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday for one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.

The family would appreciate memorial contribution to be sent to Hospice House (1087 Curlew) in Idaho Falls or an organization of your choice.
