Brenda Duncan Griffin, age 70 of Newport, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Plug" Griffin; parents,Lloyd Hillery and Mattie Duncan; and sister, Barbara Dougherty.
She was a member of Cave Hill Baptist Church where she served as secretary for twenty-six years.
She is survived by her daughters, April Hillery Griffin of Newport, Missy Griffin, and Karen Arthur both of Knoxville; brother, Clarence Duncan of Newport; special niece and caregiver, Kelly Whitt; special grandchildren of love, Hunter, Halle, Cody, Lexie, Dylan, Jennifer, Cayton, and Kayla; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Suggs, Rev. Jimmy Williams, and Rev. Jeff Miller officiating.
