JOHN M. BENHAM, 26, Brandenburg, died Aug. 26, 2003, from injuries received in an automobile accident in Harrodsburg.

He was born May 7, 1977, in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Nevitt G Benham and Edith Mae Alston.

He was a journeyman electrician, a member of Local 369, played in the band and loved to farm and fish.

Mr. Benham is survived by his wife, Becky Dowell Benham; a daughter, Nicole Benham; his parents, Nevitt and Mae Benham, all of , Brandenburg; a sister, Bonita Tyler and her husband, Deacon, Louisville; two brothers, LaRoy Benham and his wife, Diane, Brandenburg, and Joe Benham, West Liberty; a sister-in-law,Caty Dowell, Brandenburg; two nieces, Sarah Tyler and Emily Benham; two nephews, Daniel Benham and Matthew Benham, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were held Aug. 29 from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Tower officiating. Burial was in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chris Schmidt, Jeff Doane, Wayne Arnold, Jeff Meador, Karl Wiedenvohl, Matt Guenthner and Jason Pirtle.
