WINCHESTER, N.H. -- Raymond Cutler, 79, of Snow Road died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, at the Applewood Nursing Home in Winchester.

Mr. Cutler was born in Westbrook, Conn., on Oct. 8, 1923. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army.

Mr. Cutler is survived by a stepson, Robert Arbucle of Ludlow, Vt.; two stepdaughters, Rebecca Chase of Brattleboro, Vt., and Sandra Handy of Guilford, Vt.; a brother, Orrin Cutler; four sisters, Alberta Clark of Carrolton, Ga., Norma Jurczyk of Spring Hill, Fla., Edith Rutty of Westbrook, Conn., Mabel Herrschoft of Guilford, Conn.; and several step-grandchildren, nieces nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia; a grandson, George Handy; a brother, Elmer Cutler; and a sister, Gloria Stevens.

Funeral services for Mr. Cutler will be Thursday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m. at the Meetinghouse Hill Cemetery in Brattleboro. The Rev. Michael Gant, pastor of the Agape Church, will officiate. There are to be no calling hours.
