JOSEPH POLSON DIES AT FAMILY HOME
Joseph Polson died at 8:45 o'clock Sunday evening at his home in this city. Deceased leaves one son and one daughter to mourn his death. Family services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church. Rev. W.L. Cain will officiate.

OBITUARY OF JOSEPH POLSON
Passing of this Aged Citizen Took Place on Sunday
Joseph Polson was born November 11, 1843, in Indiana, and died on April 9, 1923, being at age of 79 years, 4 months, 28 days. At the age of 14 he came with his parents to Iowa which has since been his home. He was married to Kelley Marsh and they had five children -- three boys and two girls. His wife preceded him in death on January 4, 1904, also three children. Remaining is a daughter, Mrs. Bert Riggs of Omaha, one son, Hugh Polson, of Creston, one granddaughter, Mrs. Ellen Coakley, one sister, Martha Cash of St. Jo, Missouri, and two brothers, T.B. Polson (Thomas) of Creston and E.B. Polson (Elisha) of Prescott, Iowa.
He was converted when a young man and united with the Christian Union Church north of Prescott. He had been in failing health for some months. The last few months of his life he spent in suffering, which he bore patiently. But when the end came he fell asleep perpetually. He is at rest.
