Ronald "Trevor" Burgess, age 64 of Newport, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Irene Burgess; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Mary Gregg; and brother, L.J. Burgess.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Burgess of Newport; sons, Brian Rathbone and Robbie Burgess both of Newport; daughter, Tara (Bart) Martin of Parrottsville; brother, Rendall (Portia) Burgess of Gray, Tennessee; special granddaughter, Camryn Thornton of Parrottsville; and many special friends and co-workers.
The family would like to say "Thank You" to Smoky Mountain Hospice and Newport Convalescent Center. A very special "Thank You" to Trudy Hall.
Funeral Services will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday December 20, 2016 in the Manes Funeral Home West Chapel. Entombment will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Union Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home West Chapel prior to the funeral services.
