DIED - In Hardin township, October 9, 1880, Mr. Andrew Johnson, aged 86 years.
Mr. Johnson was one of the oldest settlers of Hardin township, having settled there in 1851, and of his old neighbors, only one or two now remain. He and his faithful wife, who survives him, lived on the old homestead they first settled upon. He has been almost helpless for a long time, so his death was not unexpected and yet the good old man will be sadly missed by his relatives and numerous friends.
